Sambhavna Seth Sends Legal Notice To Delhi Hospital For 'Medical Negligence’ Towards Her Late Father; Narrates Her Ordeal

Bigg Boss 8’s Sambhavna Seth father had tested positive for COVID-19 and passed away due to cardiac arrest earlier this month. Sambhavna mourned his death but also was alleged that her father was ‘medically murdered’ in a hospital in Delhi. She cited medical negligence as the reason behind his death and claimed that her father was long gone but the hospital officials didn’t inform her about his demise. She asserted that she will take legal action against the healthcare system. Speaking of which, Seth recently revealed that she has sent a notice to the hospital for ‘deficiency in services, medical negligence, lack of proper care and attention, and non-responsive behaviour,’ as reported by TOI.
Furthermore, she even shared her ordeal saying that after her father SK Seth was admitted to the hospital, the medical staff conducted a few blood tests and assured them that he would recover in a few days. Heaving a sigh of relief, Seth thought he was in safe hands. However, things went downhill when her brother Avinash saw their father was tied to the hospital bed. When inquired about the same, the officials mentioned he was trying to remove the saline supply. Later, her panic-stricken brother called her to inform their father was on oxygen support despite his saturation was between 90 and 95. Feeling that something was amiss, she flew down to Delhi to inspect on her own.
Upon reaching the hospital, the actor was ‘shocked to see the paucity of medical facilities.’ She even shot a video to highlight the issue. She was quoted saying, “Eventually, one of the doctors briefed me about my father’s health. He told me that his condition had improved and that he was assigning an attendant to take care of him. But just moments later, he told me that my father had suffered a cardiac arrest. I wanted to see him, but he stopped me and said that they were trying to revive him. After that, I was told that he died of a severe attack. I guess, they already knew that he was gone.”
